Legislative Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, February 8, 2022

The start of the 2022 Missouri Legislative Session is right around the corner and that means the Mortgage Bankers Association of Missouri Day at the Capitol is coming soon!

Please mark your calendars to attend (in person!) our Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

2022 is an election year and with in-person events being limited in 2021 at the Missouri State Capitol, it is as important as ever to show a strong, united Mortgage Bankers Association of Missouri to Missouri's legislative leaders. This event is always a highlight of our year and we receive great feedback on the crucial need to be represented at the Capitol. Please see a couple testimonials on the bottom of this notice regarding MBA of MO Days at the Capitol.

This event is free and open to the entire Mortgage Bankers Association of Missouri membership.

Our day will consist of our February board meeting in the morning with lunch to follow - both being held at the Lathrop GPM Consulting office - just a few blocks away from the Missouri State Capitol. We will then move the the day to the Missouri State Capitol where we will:

·     Meet with House and Senate leadership

·     Meet with House and Senate Banking Chairs

·     Sit in on legislative hearings and floor debate

·     Quick rundown of our beautiful State Capitol

We will also allot time for members to visit their local legislators. I will be sending out a detailed agenda at the beginning of the year.

This is always a great event and a wonderful opportunity to network with mortgage professionals across the state and to show your support of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Missouri!
