Rob Chrisman began his mortgage banking career in 1985 with First California Mortgage in Secondary Marketing, then joined Tuttle & Co., a mortgage risk management firm, as an account manager and partner until 1996. After moving to Scotland for nine months, he returned to the U.S. in 1997, leading Secondary for Standard Financial, and then as president of OnCall Mortgage, a CrossLand Mortgage sub-prime venture. He later directed Secondary Marketing at CMG Mortgage and rejoined Tuttle Risk Management (now Compass).

Since 2008, Rob has focused on publishing a widely read mortgage market commentary. He serves on the boards of Inheritance Funding Corporation, Doorway Home Loans, AXIS Appraisal Management, and the California MBA. He is a member of the Secure Settlements Advisory Board and Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas and has provided expert witness services nationwide. Rob holds a BS from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
